Ben is fighting for a new day for the Democratic Party. One where we focus all of our energy, from messaging to organizing, on delivering again for working people. And he can do that because he’s done it before.
Since he’s become Chair of WisDems, Ben’s un-rigged our state from GOP control, ended gerrymandering, struck down an abortion ban, and now the state is on track to overturn Act 10, the Scott Walker law that gutted public sector unions.
Ben wouldn’t have been able to achieve any of that without resources, and our next Chair will have a huge responsibility to raise money to kick Trump and his MAGA movement away for good. Ben’s fundraising record is unmatched in this race. Ben’s raised more money than any of the other candidates and anyone in Democratic State Party history – $230 million in the five years since he became chair. Much of this funding came from grassroots donors – Ben brought in 400,000 new small-dollar donors to the Democratic Party of Wisconsin who were inspired by their work.
Roughly 1,000 donors have contributed to our campaign for DNC Chair. We’re grateful for their support. And just as Ben always has, he will use this money to take on those who would rig our system for the wealthiest few against the working people that make up the soul of the Democratic Party.
